New Jersey was a hotbed of activity in the
history of radio. This project is intended to provide
spatially
oriented access to a wealth of information on this subject.
Google Earth is the platform that allows this.

STARTED
1)
Download and Install Google Earth Pro:
https://www.google.com/earth/about/versions/#earth-pro
CAUTION:
Un-check the appropriate boxes if you don't want
to change
your default browser to Google Chrome.
When
running Google Earth you may want to
un-check "Places." "Photos,"
and other items in the "Layers" menu at the bottom left to unclutter
your view.
2)
Download and execute the most recent Radio-Map .kmz layer file from
here: http://www.ar88.net/radio_map/kmz/
3)
Provide non-abusive constructive criticism.
Notes
Use you
mouse to navigate the map. Mouse wheel controls zoom.
Clicking
on a map pin brings up historic pictures of the site.
A picture
window may contain a link to s related website.
If a link
is a .PDF file, you'll need to click on "Open in Google Chrome."
